You guys. We’ve had a lot of guest events lately, but we wanted to take a minute to let you know about where some of our beer’s going to be showing up this weekend. Because, well, it’s a big one, and we think you just might want to come out. From What The Germantown? here in Louisville to the Alltech Craft Brews & Food Fest in Lexington, we plan on hopping our way around and pouring a few beers, so, no matter where to are, come join us out and about for a pint! We’ll be making appearances at the following events:
What The Germantown?
On Saturday, May 20th, we’ll be visiting our new neighbors in Germantown to celebrate the What The Germantown Spring Festival. We’re teaming up with The Post, one of our favorite pizza joints, to sling some beers and slices for this awesome event. We won’t be alone, though. The following breweries will be teaming up with some other Louisville bars and bands to celebrate as well:
The Post + Great Flood Brewing Company Tap Takeover
4PM – 6PM: Whiskey Bent Valley Boys
Four Pegs + Monnik Beer Co. Tap Takeover
6PM – 8PM: Bottom Sop
Nachbar + Against The Grain Brewery Tap Takeover
10PM – Midnight: Curio Key Club
Highlands Beer Festival
Also on May 20th, we’ll be hanging at the Highlands Beer Festival and serving up our Toasted Brown Ale, Find-A-Way IPA, beer X-tacy (vol. 2), and Black Sunday Milk Stout. Admission is $20, which includes 15 beer tickets. All proceeds benefit the Bluegrass Center for Autism, a local non-profit that provides services for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We’ll be joined by a ton of local, regional, and national breweries, so come out from 3:00PM-7:00PM and sample some great brews! Advanced tickets are available here: https://
Alltech Craft Brews & Food Fest
Also on Saturday (it’ll be a busy one, we know), we’ll be on-hand at the Alltech Craft Brews & Food Fest over in Lexington. Taking place at the Lexington Convention Center, word on the street is that this is going to be their biggest festival yet. Over 60 breweries from all over the country will be in attendance, not to mention a number of food vendors and distilleries. The festivities begin at noon on Saturday and continue on until 8:00PM. Tickets are $35 at the door or $30 in advance. Your ticket gets you 20 beer tastings, commemorative glassware, access to local food vendors, and an entire day of great music, so we hope to see you out!
At the Taproom
While we’re hoping to see you out and about this weekend, we’d of course be happy to see you swing by the ol’ taproom, too, which is why we’re taking part in Sam Adams’ Pour One Forward program to celebrate veterans and active service members. On Saturday, May 20th, feel free to swing by and buy a Pour One Forward postcard and write a note of thanks, which an active military member or veteran can redeem for a Samuel Adams beer.
Whatever you’re up to this weekend, we hope to see you out at one of these great events! Cheers!
