Dogfish Head record player

Dogfish Head Tap Takeover

Hey there, friends.

We’ve been on a little bit of a tap takeover craze lately, and we continue it this Saturday, May 13, with our friends from Dogfish Head. Not too unlike New Belgium a couple weeks ago, Dogfish Head has also sent us a pretty stellar prize to raffle off: a special edition Crosley record player, designed for this year’s Record Store Day. Before that, though, let’s take a look at the tap list:

  • 60 Minute IPA (IPA)
  • Midas Touch (Ancient Ale)
  • Beer to Drink Music To (Belgian-style Tripel)
  • Pennsylvania Tuxedo (Pale Ale)
  • Flesh and Blood IPA (IPA)
  • Beer for Breakfast (Stout)
  • Siracusa Nera (Imperial Stout)
  • Saison du Buff (Saison)

For more information on these beers and everything else Dogfish Head has to offer, feel free to check out their beer descriptions on their website!

Charity Raffle

Now, about that record player. Dogfish Head recently teamed up with Crosley to design a special edition record player for Record Store Day, and we’re going to raffle one off to raise money for the Louisville Walk to Defeat ALS. The Walk to Defeat ALS is the ALS Association’s biggest annual event, not to mention an important fundraiser that allows its chapters to continue offering care services and support research. So, we’re thrilled to be able to help them out and raffle the record player off for a good cause. Raffle tickets will be available at the bar, so make sure to buy a few when you come out!

About Dogfish Head

Founded in 1996 and based out of Milton, Delaware, Dogfish Head is one of the most rapidly-growing breweries in recent years. Known mainly for their IPAs (60 Minute, 90 Minute, 120 Minute), they also make waves with their Ancient Ales series. For these beers, they collaborate with a molecular archaeologist  to create recipes based on the chemical analysis of residue found at archaeological sites. While released on a limited basis, we’re thrilled to be offering up one — Midas Touch — as a part of this Saturday’s tap takeover. We hope to see you come out and give it a try.
